My advice to people is to direct their comments to the State agency which oversees the Waterfront plan, the Division of Coastal Resources. The Common Council may have dug in their heels and tossed out all the public input received already; but I believe that there are people at the State level who will listen to concerned citizens.

Thanks Sam. It seems so many of the self proclaimed stakeholders in this Waterfront debacle are unwilling, unable, or just plain afraid to voice the obvious. Its absolutely maddening that the Hudson City Democrats ever got behind good ol' Ricky in the first place. But perhaps its time they sow their oats on this. Evergreen is already staging a silent soft eviction of Hudson Terrace, we have garbage can plastic light posts, a demolished factory, and a laundry list of bad decisions for the waterfront in the pipeline - all within the last 6 months. This mess of nepotistic, byzantine, self-aggregating "an ad hominem attack on Rick" malarkey is infuriating. Its astounding that so many people don't have the nerve to say so. People need to realize this is not a time to play ignorant. A lot is at stake. Thanks.
